University of the Cumberlands Online PhD in Information Technology

You're not gonna publish or print a hard copy to put on your bookshelf ? Think of it as the new version of dragging out the old Kodak Carousel slide projector for your vacation pics.

 

I published a book with Apress last year (a bucket list item!), and if/when I earn my PhD I'm definitely going to get it bound and on the shelf beside it.

Good work! QC1 is the tough part of the QC process. QC2 only looks at Chapter 5.

 

Has anyone gotten the dissertation printed and bound? If so what service did you use? What service does cumberlands used

 

UC sends you instructions on how to get it bound. Basically, you print your dissertation and mail the pages to them. They'll bind it at the school unless it's over 250 pages.

How do I know this? I am PhinisheD! What a relief.

Happy to answer any other questions, although I'll only provide answers I'm comfortable with. My previous advice given throughout remains the same.

Excellent! Glad that helped out I am unsure on the quality since I didn't have mine printed, though from what I've heard they come out pretty good.

 

I am returning to the University of the Cumberlands for four more research courses in 2025. Then, working on my dissertation in 2026.

 

Does anyone have a PDF file copy of the 2024 Graduate School Doctoral Research Handbook? I tried to download it, but it did not work. I tried to print a hard copy and it still did not work.

That's the better news at least then Should be relatively painless once they get to it. After QC2 approval comes back, your chair will work to get a defense scheduled. At that point, things will start to feel very real.
