Never hear much about distance learning from the University of Sydney. I knew about a few of their DL offerings, but recently discovered the following:

    http://heifer.ucc.usyd.edu.au/pgcourses/

A large number of DL offerings can be found if you have the patience to dig through the site.

I'm currently digging deep into the Web sites and handbooks of almost every Tier 1 Australian university. I have found quite an impressive treasure chest of DL offerings that are either not marketed well and/or not given the attention on their main Web site to draw interested students to their offerings.

Some better marketing would be in order to make more people aware of these offerings. Of course, I also get a strong impression that many of these universities aren't really too concerned with their DL program or interested in growing it.

Thanks for the link. I found many of their offerings very interesting. I was surprosed by the wide range in cost. A part-time MBA for overseas students will costs $50,000 AD (Apprx. $25K US) which is rather high.

Actually, USYD and UNSW combined their MBA programs and offer it through what they call the Australian Graduate School of Management:

Their MBA is not offered via DL, and neither is much else from their list of offerings, save for Graduate Certificate in Change Management. I would have loved to do this program, as my employer covers my tuition costs in full, but it is not DL. :\

I am looking at UNE instead for my MBA after I finish my USQ studies.

Very familiar with this program(me), as relatives of my manager help teach it, and two other co-workers are students. I myself have applied for the Graduate Certificate level and am waiting to start next semester.

You'd be amazed at how much a little formal PM training can do wonders for the performance of a corporate network engineering department! :)
