This deserves it's own thread AACSB Accreditation "University’s Management School awarded international accreditation The University of Liverpool’s Management School (ULMS) has been awarded AACSB Accreditation. Highly prized by top employers, this international recognition covers all the School’s on-campus and online programmes – including the online MBA, online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and a suite of online MSc business, management and accounting programmes." So with that being said... does this change "everything?" (Tenure track...?) I cannot put a link on the exact cost of the DBA program, maybe someone else will. Residencies are optional... I have to admit I wish I would have known about this 2 months ago, cost might have been prohibitive but AACSB would have been a nice consideration. DOES this open the doors....lots of NEW 100% online AACSB coming soon??
Laureate Online Education & University of Liverpool - Online Degrees Doctorates Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) £ 36,512 So $58,657 with a 1.61 conversion rate Not cheap but one of the cheaper AACSB I believe (for DL)
My prediction is no, since I don't think most b-school administrators will even think about it this way much less react to it by changing course.
Though some residencies are required; the poster/s might too consider: The Manchester Business School (The University of Manchester) AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA accredited: DBA (£46,000) Manchester DBA programme overview and information | MBS Durham University (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA): DBA (£40,000) Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) - Durham University Aston Business School (Aston University) (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA): Executive DBA (a part-time four year programme) (£35,240) The Aston DBA Not AACSB; however, regarding program tuition rate: University of Surrey: DBA (£10,500) PHD (£11,550) Business and Management - University of Surrey - Guildford
