When we live in a global economy (which Bush apparently chooses to ignore), it is vital for our nation that we be in good standing with our allies, fellow travellers on the road of democracy, and business partners. As for the Saudi's, who seem to be the only country that Bush wishes to patronize, let them drink their oil while we build a powerful coalition of the free world, construct alternate energy plans, and move on to a higher plane.
While Kerry isn't perfect, he is by far the better leader to set us on this path of reconstruction and positive alliance than our current regime.
