A remarkable man in every way. I haven’t yet visited South Africa and know only what I've read but their approach to dismantling apartheid was/is unique. They kept the country stable by essentially leaving white people alone. North of South Africa is Zimbabwe which did not. The difference in outcome is shocking. I'm not arguing for one or the other. As a white American I don't think I'm in any position to judge. But the results perhaps speak for themselves.
