Cypress University would at first glance (especially internationally), I think, make it sound like it was based on the Island of Cyprus

I attended Touru University International for my MS-ITM when it was a private / non-profit (2003-2004). I have been working on my MBA from TUI off and on for a while. The quality of the program, delivery, expectations of the school, customer service, etc has not changed. It is still great. The name has changed and that is all that is obvious from the students side. I would like to say that the people that comment that they would not get a degree from TUI because of the name are shallow but in this case the name is so stupid I could not blame them! When I finish my MBA it will probably be listed as: •MS-ITM / MBA in Marketing – Touro University International on my resume. Sure it is not 100% accurate but I am okay with that since it will save space and only be one line.

This might offer some insight into what programs they might be looking to add: Welcome to New TUI University
