I noticed that TUI offers tuition assistance for military spouses, so that each MBA course is only $750. That's a pretty good deal, too bad I already have my MBA!

Does anyone know if military (spouse or active duty) receive any kind of discount on the tuition in the PhD program??

"For Retired Military and Military Spouses, the tuition for Ph.D. programs will be at a 20% discount from the regular $500 per semester credit rate. The tuition rate for these individuals will be $400 per semester credit."

That's great! Can you provide me the direct link to that information on their site? I'd appreciate it.

I'm looking heavily into TUI and want to make some type of decision for enrollment in the next 4-6 months. I'm also considering NCU.

Since the forums have been messed up, I can't seem to do a good search. I'd appreciate it if any current TUI PhD students could share their experiences with me. I'm curious how the grades work since there are no "exams". I'd also like to see some syllabi. Any information would be extremely helpful.

I'm currently working as an online adjunct at 3 community colleges and would like to continue in the direction of full-time at a community college and one day hold a Dean or Department Chair position. I'm also interested in teaching at 4-year schools, but am not sure if that would be possible without an AACSB-accredited PhD. The only thing I have going for me is the fact that I'm in the accounting field and there is an extreme shortage of qualified doctorates.

Look at the very bottom of the TUI's military TA page. It is the very last thing discussed.
