I was watching television when an ad for ITT Tech was playing and I noticed there was a disclaimer in large print that let people know that the credits they obtain through ITT Tech is not likely to be accepted or transferred to another college. I was pleased to see that they put the disclaimer large enough for someone to read and make an educated choice.
If I recall correctly, the disclaimer is used as part of a settlement in a lawsuit that was filed against ITT Tech. I believe the lawsuit alleged the school misled prospective students about the transferability of ITT Tech credits.
i knew going into ITT back in the 90's that the credits might not transfer. The funny thing is that disclaimer was there back then too. But not as large.
Very expensive and without the accreditation for units to transfer? Yikes! Not sure that will fly in the future.
The two ITT tech campuses in my area have no issues attracting students. Academic standards are arcane enough to the layman that it's very likely the average person could care less until they are impacted in some way.

What he's on me about is using the term in a way that it shouldn't be within the structure of my sentence; based on the definition. The problem is it's an English dictionary definition and I'm an American that speaks American (and even worse.. my own dialect of American) Nuff said there.
Actually, you're incorrect. I posted the definition because when you use big words that I don't understand, it confuses me. So I figured I would share the definition of the word used just in case other knuckle draggers like me read that sentence and think to themselves, "WTF does that mean?" ITJD you give my intellectual capabilities way too much credit; I'm only three brain cells shy of legally having to carry around a helmet and sippy cup, lol.

I noticed this last week on their commercial. ITT Tech came to my high school during my senior year. Their presentation was top notch. They turned me off by calling me everyday. Sometimes several times a day.
We all have our sippy cup moments. While I do read extensively across subjects I think I learned more vocabulary by playing Dungeons and Dragons than by translating Old Aramaic at Northeastern.
It is possible to succeed with an ITT degree, and yes, its expensive. If I had to do it over again I would, but I would have stopped at the Associates degree. Though parts of me wish they had the webmaster's program when I attended.
