And it's the British Virgin Islands. No surprise there. The trade name has been registered in Louisiana for several years, but we now have the following corporate registration as a non-Louisiana business: 35078817F Name: TRINITY COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY INC Type Entity: Business Corporation (Non-Louisiana) Status: Active Domicile Address: OFFSHORE INCORPORATIONS CENTRE, ROAD TOWN, TORTOLA, VI Principal Business Establishment: 901 VETERANS BLVD., STE. 203, METAIRIE, LA 70005 Qualified: 04/23/2001 | Effective: 04/23/2001 Registered Agent (Appointed 4/23/2001): THOMAS P. WILLIAMS, 901 VETERANS BLVD., STE. 203, METAIRIE, LA 70005 Officer(s)/Director(s): R.E. PAYNE ------------------ Bill Gossett
He!! he!!! What a bunch of losers!! Welcome to the sordid offshore, anonymous gang of fake degree producers TC&U. Still, Payne must feel right at home with the likes of Capitol University et al no doubt using the same local agent & PO Box. I can see it right now - some fat, ex-pat lying on some beach of the BVI sucking Pina Coladas living off the commissions of these PO Box unis which are setting up in droves. Cheers, George ------------------ Virtual Universities of Australasia & the World www.virtualuniversities.net [email protected]
I dunno George, the last time I checked Capitol was using NetIncorp and Concordia was using Trustnet. I believe they spread the business around so they can all use different addresses. The British Virgin Islands has one tertiary level institution, which is a community college. The Ministry of Education does not respond to requests for information about these fake schools, which really tells you all you need to know about their legitimacy. An interesting facet of the BVI IBC Act is that, other than renting office space for corporate meetings, IBCs may not own real estate in the BVI or conduct business with its residents. ------------------ Bill Gossett
