I love how people through out statements like TUI may lose their accreditation. Does everyone know why they are on probation? Has anyonbe taken the time to call the school and find out?

Why isn't there a thread that reads, "AUBURN UNIVERSITY ON PROBATION!!!" ???

For a while it was the UoP is a joke, then is switched to NCU is too easy, now it is TUI may lose their accreditation. I wonder what the flavor of the month will be in March or April.

Should be "throw" not "through." Is it a possibility or do we need to use probability scales?

The flavor of the month in March will be Bethany Divinity College and Seminary and the flavor of the month in April will be Clifton's University of Anti-Trinitarian Studies. :D

Thank you for the correction. Any I would say anything is possible...even seeing Elvis at a 7-11.

Is Clifton's University of Anti-Trinitarian Studies RA, DETC, or state approved?? ;)

I joined CCU for two semesters only (1999) and thought that their courses are much more inferior in comparison to TUI or The Union Ins.

I also heard that TUI's external review was excellent and things will be over soon. Mark my words, the ban will be lifted soon. This was the price for being too successful. Their Ph.D. program is shaping up extremely well. It is one of the best online programs out there. Yes, as some of you anticipated... it is becoming more rigorous and demanding (e.g. comprehensive exams written and now oral... followed by two oral defenses... min. GPA of 3.4 plus other requirements).

    TUI Changes

I feel that TUI is shaping up very well. As most of you know who are Ph.D. students, many curriculum changes have transpired and the program is getting much more rigorous. TUI is a growing institution and I feel they are the growing pains that accompany such a transition. My question is the do you feel that the curriculum changes will effect current students that are finalizing course requirements before dissertation or will we be grandfathered from the transformation? Will we now have to fulfill a residency requirement? It is tough to complete requirements when they are constantly changing.

I still take TUI or Touro anyday over CCU or even the RA NCU.

    Re: TUI Changes

I have been in the program for nearly 2.5 years and two more chapters for completion. I sure hope that all the changes going on will not affect existing students.
