The Trades Meet the Liberal Arts in a New Wave in Catholic Higher Ed

A New Wave in Catholic Education (Susannah Pearce, Crisis Magazine, July 16, 2024)

 

When hiring someone, I look at the experience, education, and industrial credentials. I usually weigh:
- 50% work experience
- 30% formal education, including college reputation (A Bachelor in History from Harvard University does not equal less than a Bachelor in Computer Science from George Mason University when applying for an IT position.)
- 20% industrial certification such as (CPA, CISSP, PMP, GCP, etc.)
