Has anyone seen this one? What do you think?
I just finished seeing it today. Since I live in Spain and clearly remember the true case of Ramon Sampedro on which the movie is based, I found this film very impressive and beautiful.

Although the director/authors always said that it is not a film about euthanasia, but rather about life and the will to live (perhaps so as to defend themselves from a strong sector of christian/conservative people in Spain and other countries), I really think it also defends the idea of euthanasia successfully.

The acting is superb. I am not much of a fan of the main actor nor of the woman that interprets Julia, but I have to say that they were highly convincing and very charismatic in this production.

By the way, in case you want to know, recently Ramona Maneiro (probably the woman on which the screen character "Rose" is based) has confessed that it was she who gave him the cyanide to end it all. She has waited to confess publicly now that, according to Spanish law, the "crime" has prescribed and she cannot be charged for it anymore.
Here's a picture of her with Sampedro:

Well, everyone has a different taste for movies. One of the main thing about this one though is that it addresses the issue of euthanasia using a real case, and it may be yet another little brick that helps build the road to freedom that many people would lilke to have.
