The Scoop on Lesley University Boys& Girls

On Saturday 11/15/03. I attended an Information Meeting at Lesley University Las Vegas. They offer 3 degrees. 1) M.ED. in Learning,2) in Literacy, and 3) Technology. The third degree held my interest. Marketed as: learning to intergrate technology into any curriculum using multimedia,the internet, robotics,video and other tools.

My impression was that since most computer jobs are being shipped to India that if took this course I could teach computer methods in college. While you do get a masters degree
it only seems to qualify you for an adjunct facilty position (at least here in Las Vegas) which is a part time position,that can be applied for if you have a BA. degree.

Here are the Stats: It is a 22 month program,you must complete 33 Credits and spend 1 full weekend a month in class.
Fri 5PM-10PM
Sat8AM-5PM
Sun8Am-5Pm The Costs: $390.x 33=12,870+$175.in fees$13045div 22mons=$593. a month less books and misc. items
(There is no Inside Scholarship money)
