The NRA has contributed to the racial divisiveness in the U.S. by weighing in on non-gun issues. Recently, they weighed in on the increased diversity on Thomas the Tank Engine, a children's show. Their spokesperson thought it would be appropriate to mock the effort by showing a picture of the show's characters wearing KKK hoods standing in front of burning tracks.

Ted Nugent, who is undeniably racist, sits on their board. Ted Nugent has defended white people's use of the n-word and admits to using it himself. I'm not talking about the slang version, but the actual racial slur. Nugent has also called Obama a sub-human mongrel, has said that black people should be racially profiled in the same manner as dog breeds known for biting children, and that African Americans have an inability to read or speak clearly.

Sanantone, for educational purposes, will you please define what a "racist" is?

Someone who believes that a racial or ethnic group is inferior. If you read the article with Ted Nugent's comments, he's made it very clear that he believes African Americans are inferior.

You can stop with the patronizing responses. Steve Foerster is utterly wrong about you.

Ted Nuggent is a disgrace of a human being. Plus, his music sucks! Good article. Very telling indeed.
