    You are saying as if "vote blue no matter who" is an extreme position or something.

    It is possible to disagree with more than one position without thinking they are "interchangeable" (whatever that is supposed to mean). But, OK, I'll concede that there USED to be some serious thought on the right. Also, if some "to the right of" me want credit for the tremendous act of intellectual courage that is saying Yarvin and Carlson may be problematic (while simultaneously trying to find a common ground with them, no less) - fine, grab a trophy.

    All that means is that someone that might consider any view the same that is to the right of very liberal or progressive.

    My reading of the article is that the author makes a good argument that far right folks, like MAGA Republicans perhaps, has a big problem and the source of a good portion of their problems is that they don't trust experts. The good examples being 2020 election denialism or climate denialism. The folks in the center don't buy into that kind of stuff, is essentially what Steve was saying.
