It's not too often that a humanities field is in high demand and comes with high salaries. Loyola University of Chicago has a Doctor of Bioethics, and the success of their alumni is quite impressive. They're IRB directors, clinical ethicists at hospitals, and professors at medical schools. According to Glassdoor, the median salary for a bioethicist is around $52k. According to Salary.com, the typical salary for a clinical ethicist is between $92k and $115k. I wish I would have bookmarked the article because I can't find it now, but medical ethicist/bioethicist/clinical ethicist was listed as one of the fastest-growing job titles.
