Has anyone taught online for The Art Institute of Pittsburgh? Was it a positive experience? Their website says that the time commitment is 8-10 hours a week. That does not seem realistic to me. I have a friend putting in 20-25 hours for UOP.
I have not taught for TAI, but have taught for another EDMC school. I would say the 10 hours a week is doable on most weeks. Some might go over a bit. The thing to remember is that everyone works at different speeds and we teach different subjects. Amount of time spent in each class is probably fairly specific to that person. What might take one person 18 hours, might take someone else 14 or 15. Just an observation.
