Anyone else find that with CLEP and DSST that you may have to wait days, weeks, months even, to take exams? While I realize I could use the time to my advantage and study, one advantage of the assessment route I was looking at would have been a time savings-- supposedly. Here, in supposedly advanced Southern California, I can only find one CLEP center within 50 miles of where I live, can only take one CLEP exam per day, and if I wait too long, they're booked! DSST is a similar story. UofP has test centers at their locations, of which there are many-- but you have to be registered by the first of the month for the month in which you want to test. And here, they're booked until March! grrr! Thanks for letting me rant.
Shotojuku is correct, CCU does have a testing center. However, most of your community colleges and universities should do the trick as well. Good luck! Abner
One exam per day? I used to take the CLEP exam at UofP at Vista campus; normally I took two exams per day. You can try to locate that one.... Have you ever try to take the exam at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton? Normally you are take the the nearest Military base....Military test center does not list under the national list.
