    I agree with this.

Also I think in general when people call someone "educated", it usually means that the person has a college degree, bachelors. However when people call someone "well educated", it usually implies that person has an undergrad degree from a top school such as an Ivy or a school such as UC Berkeley, or maybe even an advanced degree from a well known school too. But in this case the "most educated" just seems to mean the person with the most degrees.

I would believe it is mainly quantitatively judged. Reason for this is that "educated", in the sense used here, does not really mean "intelligence level". Sure being educated ties in with intelligence, to some degree. Example: I am educated, however, I am not brilliant. :]

Neat list. It's tempting to keep earning degrees throughout life. At once point, as a teen, I decided I wanted to earn one degree per decade of life. Now I don't.

At some point, it just seems... not necessary.

So much time spent.... how do these people spend time with their families, friends, etc.?

How do they have time to socialize, pursue other hobbies, relax, do charity, travel, etc.?

So much money put into it. I get that they enjoy it. But, wouldn't so many degrees eat into one's savings and retirement plans?

How does a person have the time, and money, to get a few dozen different degrees?

I understand wanting to further one's (and my) education up to a point. I plan to get another degree or two, and perhaps a few certificates over the rest of my career. I don't see the need for 10+ degrees in *my* life.
