https://www.yahoo.com/news/chicago-teen-earns-doctoral-degree-165238877.html “By age 14, Dorothy Jean Tillman had obtained an associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree. Despite the impressive achievements, Tillman remembers turning to her mother and saying, “I think I want to pursue a doctorate degree.”” And. “While she has achieved a lot at her age, Tillman tells people it’s all about having a supportive family around her. “It’s teamwork that makes the dream work,” she said. “It is a village that builds the land. It’s having those people there with you that is going to, you know, uphold you at the end of the day.””
A NYT article about this person (gift article) https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/22/us/dorothy-jean-tillman-chicago.html?unlocked_article_code=1.108.o2Nq.iSuNw9E1BJLJ&smid=nytcore-android-share
It was late last night when I posted that and I realize I forgot to post my other thoughts. I thought we had a more detailed discussion of this person. Their terminal degree is a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH), whose course requirements include an internship and/or applied project.
