    The skinny on Chile.

    The fatty version linked to is heavy on determined methodology rather than outcomes. And on collectivization:

    "The idea of a knowledge-based society refers to a new kind of social organization in which knowledge is a collective and collaborative effort and provides democratic access to information around the globe. From this perspective, knowledge is considered a value which should be shared and amplified for the common good (UNESCO, 2014)."

    The article suggests faculty members adopted the terminology of CBE but not the practices, which I suppose is less than surprising.

    Everything turned to a political purpose, it would seem. But I thought it interesting that CBE is of wide interest or adoption.
