I was very skeptical about this article until I read it. Kudos to Virginia Tech for allowing this unorthodox professor to teach:

Of course, it is personality driven, but it is a very novel approach!

 

Well, you can teach million people at once...but can they learn. It is important if they want to learn not in the teaching stand point.

 

I totally agree when you say that teaching so many people is one thing, but if they learn or not is what is important. Teaching is never a one way process, it succeeds only when what you taught is learnt. That is what is important. It is a novel approach and one the flip side also depends on the students interest. A lot of factors are involved in understanding if the teaching process has been successful or not.
