I got Barron's EZ101 - Keys book for CLEP psychology exam as recommended by some and also listed on bain4weeks site but it seems very concise and does not have the detail that I was looking for. Can anyone recommend any other book ? Is this book enough to pass the exam with >60 for someone without prior Psychology exam knowledge.
YES! This book is sufficient for a complete novice to pass with an A - I did (I scored about a 68-69). This book has an uncanny similarity to the actual exam format.
I found this link pretty good when I was studying for Pysch CLEP: http://www.mhhe.com/socscience/intro/cafe/lahey7/student_index.mhtml It has chapter reviews in PDF, flash cards, quizzes, midterm, final, etc. It helped me a lot (I think I scored a 67 on the CLEP). Definately covered material on the CLEP though. Bill
Thanks Bill for the link. I will definitely check it out. I need as many resources as possible to be confident.
I bought that book after reading Lawrie's post here (before the website) and passed both that clep and the intro to educational psych. (or something to that effect.) I've also used two other of his recommended resources successfully. Your mileage may vary...
