    Addicted To School

Your lights are on, and you're at home
Your mind is not your own
Your heart sweats, your body shakes
Another course is what it takes

You can't sleep, you can't eat
There's no doubt, you're in deep
Your throat is tight, you can't breathe
Another course is all you need

Whoa, you like to think that you're immune to the stuff, oh yeah
It's closer to the truth to say you can't get enough
You know you're gonna have to face it, you're addicted to school

You see the signs, but you can't read
You're runnin' at, a different speed
You heart beats, in double time
Another course, and you'll be fine...

    You can't be saved
    Education is all you crave
If there's some left for you
You don't mind if you do

Whoa, you like to think that you're immune to the stuff, oh yeah
It's closer to the truth to say you can't get enough
You know you're gonna have to face it, you're addicted to school

Might as well face it, you're addicted to school
Might as well face it, you're addicted to school
Might as well face it, you're addicted to school
Might as well face it, you're addicted to school
Might as well face it, you're addicted to school

When I first started my venture in distance learning by correspondence at the The University of Iowa, I started slow in order to learning the ropes. Later, I would add one or two more as I became more comfortable. Later, as I progressed into dl study via online modalities, I still followd this rule. If a school is new to me, I would rather start off slow then add more later if I feel comfortable.

    Good luck and welcome aboard!

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone again for the helpful replies! I am going to start with one class June 4th, called Survey of Art History. If all goes well, and I can handle one class on the summer compressed schedule, I will be taking two classes in the fall. I chose Intro to Computer Information Systems, which is required, and Ethics In The Business And Professions.

I purchased a guide on writing college essays, and checked out a book from the library called "Microsoft Office 2010 Bible." Not only is distance learning new to me, but so is blackboard learning, Office, etc. I am trying to become proficient in Office and essay writing skills before school starts. :)
