Hi all, Was just wondering if anyone is aware of any BI development (think SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc.) courses that can be started anytime, either online or local to the Houston area, for credit? The local community college (HCC) offers some and the best online option I've found thus far seems to be UCSD Extension. Was just wondering if anyone else is aware of anything? TIA!
If for college credit, I don't think any can beat the local community college price on those specialty courses.
I don't know exactly where you live in the Houston area, but did you check Lone Star Community College? Self-paced courses in IT/IS/CS are hard to find. With UCSD, you have to be careful. It's not always clear when a course is for professional development and not worth credit. Statistics.com has ACE-approved courses that are self-paced. Thomas Edison State University has a partnership with them for their data science program.
I found this self-paced program. https://www.ntc.edu/programs-courses/all/certificates/IT-database-specialist Northcentral Technical College has other self-paced programs. https://www.ntc.edu/flexible-learning-options/virtual-college/programs-and-courses
