    Good so far!

    Hi all!

I just enrolled with Southwest to pursue my BS in Criminal Justice. So far, I have been pleased with the enrollment process. They accepted all 60 credits I earned with Ashworth and 24 from my AARTS transcript, leaving me with only 12 classes to complete (36hrs). I'm using the G.I. Bill this time around instead of DANTES. And yes, the faculty seems very polite and attentive to my needs. :)

    Southwest University, Kenner, La.

Southwest University in Kenner, La. Is a nationally accredited University through the DETC. The DETC falls under the umbrella of the Department of Education. The University is a small school but offers an assortment of degree programs. In 2014 the school was deemed a 'Military Friendly School' in 2014. I am currently enrolled in a Master of Science Program. The degree requirements are long and rigorous. I've found the staff to be extremely professional, diligent and demanding. The flexibility of being able to work at your 'own pace' is what drew me to the school. I have attended other Universities where I actually attended classes. Southwest University has a course load that actually allows their students to grasp the entire course matter without distractions of other students in class and professors speaking off subject. The school is extremely beneficial for students with learning disabilities and difficulty focusing on mundane subject matter. I would highly recommend this school to students who have difficulty in these areas.
