    If this wasn't so un-American and dangerous for a working society, I would encourage Republicans everywhere to do this stuff everywhere.

    Hm. You know, there's such a thing as defamation of character.

    As long as he can prove up the malice, he should be good to go. Of course, that's usually the rub with libel of public figures. Then again, I've never tried a defamation case in any jurisdiction, much less Texas, so not sure about the common law or statutory nuances there.
