Aged law of 1958 is used in Israel when recognizing Engineering Degrees for Professional Registration.
Its 2024, DL is now mainstream, or hybrid form of education.

    Correspondence or distance learning:

According to the policy of the registrar of engineers and architects, "correspondence" or "distance learning" studies in any institution are not recognized for the purpose of registration.
The non-recognition of distance/correspondence studies is derived from the following considerations:

    Lack of experience in laboratories
Lack of interaction between the students
The lack of brainstorming in studies including in practices
The absence of presentation of works and discussions accordingly
    Lack of absorbing study atmosphere
The absence of the need to hear the lecturers includes questions and issues that arise while studying
There are greater options for non-self-employment
Dialogue between students regarding different projects - experiencing and knowing different projects and considerations for the same topic.
A project in the studio rooms between the students - working in a thinking team for comprehensive and large projects.
Internalizing different reviews for different projects. Experimenting with other different ideas on diverse topics.

Not super surprising coming from Israel. They were very strict on what degrees people could obtain when that law was written.
