I am an adjunct professor of regression analysis at an AACSB accredited university. I began the PhD program at Northcentral 15 months ago and have been very pleased with the academic rigor imposed by the university. I have approximately three months remaining in the foundation course work phase of my program prior to taking the comps and beginning the dissertation research-related courses. It is my understanding that, AFTER the foundation course work phase of the program (in my case, 34 post-MBA hours plus the comps), the average length of time to complete the dissertation (including 24 hours of dissertation research-related courses) at Northcentral is approximately two years. Hence, it would be an EXTREME exception to complete a doctorate at NCU in less than three years.
