Joy, I corresponded with Sallie Mae this very week concerning this query. The Sallie Mae representative told me that the school must be a US school for SM to loan money. Hope this helps! Russell
Russell, Thanks for the info. Soooo, I can get a loan for certain less-than-wonderful U.S. schools but not for a prestige school like University of London. (!) That seems strange to me. After all, the STUDENT borrows the money, not the SCHOOL. Joybaum
