IIRC, Harvard Extension was running an 8-week session but is now moving toward a "regular" semester calendar.

First of all, thanks for all the links so far. If you got more, keep them coming. Second, I am curious, as I am a terrible time-manager (not to mention a notorious time-waster :D); if I were taking two classes in an 8-week term format, while also holding a 20 hour/week part-time job, would I still have time left to pursue other areas of academic interest (perhaps, an additional course, via independent study) or gain the knowledge required to obtain various IT certifications (A+, Network+, Cisco, etc) while also having some semblance of a life? Have you guys done this? Was it hard? After years out of college, I'm a little rusty, so just want to make sure I'm not taking on more than I can chew. Help, advice, anecdotes, and your own experiences are more than welcomed. Thanks in advance, and once again, sorry for all the questions. I'm close to a decision. Just need to "feel" it's the right one.

A friend of mine at work recently completed his associate's at a local cc... his workload was this:

    Working 40-hour weeks.
    Taking 5 classes.
    Going out every night.

When I figure out how he managed it, I'll let you know... but all I can say is if you really want to do something (or somethings as it is) then you'll find a way to do it. :)

I suggest you take just two courses to begin with.
If you want to take more than two courses include two courses that overlap (i.e. Geology and Geology of California) or include one course in a subject that you knowledgable about.
