Well, I'm currently doing my RN through Excelsior, and I did take a couple of the BSN-level tests to finish up my BS through COSC. I'm only using the Excelsior materials. I don't see the point of paying big bucks for Rue support material when you can get a free study guide from Excelsior, a bunch of cheap textbooks from Half.com, and countless free resources on the Yahoo groups. In any event, you can find more information on:

I did not go to Excelsior but from talking to others who have, most find that the materials that are provided by Excelsior are all the help they need. Some like other services like Rue but they are expensive and are not at all connected to Excelsior.

    Ann1959,
It has been a long time since I graduated from Regents College (now Excelsior) and much may have changed, however, I did need to find outside help to prepare for the Nursing Research module. I called colleges that had schools of nursing and located an individual I hired for private lessons focused specifically on the Regents syllabus. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

Best of luck to you and congratulations for continuing your education.
