resume question- AA and BA from same college

    I have always thought that if you have an associate's degree from a community college, it doesn't hurt to include it when applying for a position at a CC. IMO, it could be viewed as being better able to relate to the student population because of a shared background.

    I think your Associate's from the Culinary Institute adds a lot of value, but because you have a Bachelor's that your one from TESC does not, especially since it's in General Studies. So I'd list them like this:
    That gastronomy Master's will look really cool there too. :)

    Thanks Steve. Not to jinx anything, but my application should be complete March 1st. Pending acceptance, my start date is 2/09.

    For those who don't know but may care <smile> gastronomy studies culinary arts through a social science lens: culture, consumer behavior, political and economic issues, sustainability, food anthropology, etc. I am applying to the MA Gastronomy program in Adelaide Australia.

    This is an excellent example of a time when you would want to add the AA. It adds value to your resume.
