Good point. There are probably more university faculty with doctorates from Nova than from the other three schools put together. At my previous institution (a masters-level state university in Illinois) one of my faculty colleagues made a condescending remark about Nova Southeasern University. I informed my colleague that Nova was a well-established brick-and-mortar institution with medical, dental, pharmacology and law colleges (none of which we had) and that one of the most respected professors in our special ed department recevied his doctorate from Nova. His reponse: "Gee, thanks, Tony. I had no idea. I'd better modify my opinions".

If only more professors were this open and teachable...
