Hi All, Does anyone have a list of recognized foreign transcript evaluators? I know about WES (World Education Services) but they are extremely slow and expensive. Any input is appreciated,
There's the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, which is where Oregon's ODA goes for opinions, and there are the member organizations of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. -=Steve=-
When I got my EBS "Post-graduate" diploma, I had it evaluated by IERF. http://www.ierf.org/ They were cheaper than WES, but it took about 3 months. When I completed the MBA, I used WES for that evaluation. They were finished in about a week. Why do you think WES is slow?
Hi Edo, In my experience they have been very slow, but that could be due to the student not getting them what they ask for in a timely manner. I am sure they work quite well for many people, or they wouldn't be so widely used.
Also what often slows down the process is that they require transcripts to be sent directly from the institution, not from the student. I've noticed often that UK schools can be very slow sending out transcripts.
