Perhaps we can agree to snip messages quoted for brevity's sake. Because of the format of the board, quoting *all* of a previous message *every* time can make for very long pages. Maybe we could just include the small portion that actually applies to our reply (particularly because the entire message is always just above unlike the ng) Tom Nixon

But, jnate's message wasn't going to be right above mine because of other discussion in between, so... I'll take this opportunity to give my heartfelt thanks to John for inviting me to join the board. As I have just about exhausted my wealth of DE info in my first three posts, I may not be a frequent contributor. But I can tell already my presence here was predestined.
