No, in fact, I have a tutorial in ten minutes.

Where would I go? Well, under heno's circumstances, I might very well go to Glendale. Here's what I mean by "circumstances":

-his health is such that he needs to live at home for the time being. Glendale is a mile away or so.

-he is a Californian and expressed no intention of leaving the Golden State (though he didn't say he wasn't)

-he is young but in the future, his health might make a high pressure work enviroment hard to manage. Thus, his income potential may have limitations not generally applicable to law students.

-he isn't really sure that law is what he wants to do. A part time year at Glendale would be a far smaller investment than a year at TJ.

-If all these things resolve themselves and he wants to get an ABA degree, there is nothing keeping him from doing so, again, since he's still quite young.

In general an ABA degree is way mo' better than a CalBar degree but for a permanent Californian, a CalBar degree and licensure is an option that should be carefully considered, IMHO.
