I have a friend interested in Distance Learning Electronics Technology course-work. Two schools that he has looked at are Cleveland Institute of Electronics and Penn Foster's. The fact that they are NA is not important but the quality of course content is important. Are these good programs for acquiring the skills of an Electronics Technician? Is one program better than the other? Is customer service better at one or the other? I would appreciate any input from former or present students in these programs. Thanks very much.

I did the AAS at CIE, as well as the Grantham BSET program. I thought the CIE program was very good.
