Good Morning, My husband may need two additional accounting courses. He has the basic accounting courses (6) credits. He tests well and has experience in this area. He needs six additional credits. Thanks. Hille

3 credits could from the Income Tax TECEP, but I am not aware of another test out option in accounting at the UL.

The correspondence courses at LSU would be considered upper level and they offer a lot of options. I am considering pursuing a BSB-Accounting from Excelsior and this would be my path to obtaining the necessary UL credits.

Penn Foster could be the quickest if you are looking to getting Intermediate Accounting I and II done. No DQ post or homework. It has like six quizzes and a final. I ended up taking these again at Liberty University because I rushed through those courses the first time. I am still kicking myself because I ended up getting a General Business degree instead of a concentration in accounting, but back then we were loosing a lot of people and I did not want to take chances. When I did speak with the people at Exceslior, they would have considered the inter. accounting courses as upper division at Penn Foster if I switched concentration from general to accounting.
