Upon completion of this program, you will:
    • Receive a joint Purdue-Simplilearn certification
    • Become entitled to membership in the Purdue University Alumni Association

So you become a Purdue alumni for only $3k. This is not Purdue Global program. This is real Purdue University's program.

If this is non-credit, I can't imagine how that's worth it.

Yes, this looks like a non-credit program.. but you'll be able to add 'Post Graduate Program Certificate' on your resume.

I was admitted to their MS in Business Analytics program a few weeks back.

The thing is though, that ANYONE can join the Purdue University Alumni Association today, even if you didn't graduate from Purdue. It's not like the Harvard Clubs where there's a substantial benefit you can get that you can't get without being an alumnus.

    See here: https://www.purduealumni.org/membership/

I don't think it worth the money and effort because there is no data to prove that the job market utilizes certificates from colleges and universities through third parties. As far as the degree through third parties have been for a long time, and the degree does specifically from the institution, not the third party.
