    ...also the fake embassy URL...

Besides pulling the transcript-that-wasn't-a-transcript, they've also removed the URL for the fake Liberian Embassy web site from the accrediation page http://saintregis.edu.lr/accreditation.htm , as well as removing the Embassy's Washington, DC phone number.

They have not, however, removed the Embassy's address. So, contrary to the apparent request from the Embassy, they have left the Liberian Embassy present on the page which lists who will confirm SRU's accreditation.

what you expect them to remove that? They will keep this up for as long as they can. I would like to see a hard copy of that letter from the embassy, any one know where I can get one?

    Chronicle of Higher Education article

    Take a look at this:

    http://chronicle.com/free/2003/10/2003101301t.htm

    A related link is here:

http://www.conted.uiuc.edu/html/tenure_guide.html#part1. The section titled "Distinguishing Characteristics of Activities Considered as Public Service" is particularly germane.

A sensible definition of "academic and/or professional expertise" would include evaluation of curricula, methods of instruction, and criteria for accreditation, as well as the technical skills associated with following internet leads.

Oregon ODA subsite open for business

That web page http://www.hep.uiuc.edu/home/g-gollin/nonchea/ that used to contain material about unaccredited schools presently displays no text.

However, the page's title is "../pigeons/". If one were to interpret this as a unix directory specification, the title would be referring to http://www.hep.uiuc.edu/home/g-gollin/pigeons/

That page contains a link to an Oregon ODA page about the same subject. Note that the content there belongs (including copyright) to ODA. The ODA page is here: http://www.osac.state.or.us/oda/oregon_north_dakota/index_or.html
