Is there anyone out there, which has experience in Capella's PhD in Information Technology program?

What is your opinion of the program? Quality of education?

What is your purpose of getting this degree for? I was in the program, but I put it on hold.

Can you touch on how your experience has been with Capella. I am wanting to do the same program and teach general management classes and info. technology courses.

It depends how to handle the study materials. At Capella University, you requires to read lot of material within a week. For example, one class average about 100 pages per week. You must post about 2 posts, and reply back 2 posts. You also have to do lot of assignments and writing papers. I don't mind to do that, but the problem that Capella University charges tuition quarterly, which means you take 1 class or 3 classes are the same price tag.

Honestly, I don't want to handle too much material within a quarter because of family, job, and personal life. I want to take it slow, but if I take one class at Capella University per quarter the tuition is almost the same at Columbia University.
