Interesting indeed. At first glance it looks like a good deal for both parties. PFC gets access to AC curriculum and an immediate expansion of health care programs including RN-BSN and psychology to masters degrees in healthcare administration and others to boot. Throw in a dash of human resource and marketing degrees and various others and we're talking an instant jump forward in offerings. AC benefits in PFC's educational management skills and contacts with major hiring corporations. The only thing that bothers me is a suspicion, that now that they're in bed together, there is one less competitor for PFC and tuition will rise accordingly.

 

It seems like a good business move. This kind of acquisition comes with staff reduction, reduce competition, and price increase.
