a few weeks ago there were a couple of posts about online teaching and websites that offered jobs to online teachers, where did that post go? i can't seem to find it, and the search option is not working at the moment.
here are a couple of threads that discussed this: http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?t=25684&highlight=adjunct+job http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?t=26347&highlight=adjunct+job clint
They were listed in one of the previously posted links. www.higheredjobs.com and www.chronicle.com. clint
This is cool but I only see 36 jobs listed and most of them are with Troy University. Is this a relative new venture? Dave
Hi Dave; It's been around awhile and it claims to be associated with 30+ schools. It is a passive site where you post your CV and the schools check through those that meet their requirements. The number of schools actively advertising is usually quite small. I've heard of a couple colleagues getting contacts from there, but can't really vouch for its effectiveness.
how much can you make teaching online with only a masters? I suppose that it would have to be RA, right? I am unsure if this is something I want to purse in the future but do you need to get a teaching certificate or does having a masters cover that?
