Oklahoma State: correspondence classes cannot count towards honor roll?

The Professor at TU that received her BS, MBA, and PhD from OU was very much against DL as well.... maybe there is a trend.

 

I think the bias isn't with schools in Okla but with the attitudes of how people earn their degrees. I have a friend getting his PhD in Theology from a B&M school and he hates the idea of distance education. As the technology gets better hopefully the attitudes will change.

 

About 10 years ago, I took one DL course from Oklahoma State. The class was only offered on a pass/fail basis. I don't know if this has changed since then, but if not, it could explain the above statement.

In fact tuition is very reasonable at $190/credit hr. for an MS in Computer Science.
