Come on, man!

Allowing people the 100% voluntary option of investing a small portion of their social security in private funds which have historically shown a far higher rate of return vis-a-vis social security does not equal "gutting" social security!

Lowering taxes across the board for everybody, and in fact lowering them to zero for over a third of all American citizens does not equal Bush looking out for his "corporate buddies". Honestly, tell me, what system of taxation would make you happy? Or is taxation what you're talking about?

Are you so sure that our health care system is so bad? That Bush doesn't care about health care? What could he or any president do short of going to purely socialized medicine that would convince you they cared about health care? And what's so wonderful about the socialized medicine in place in Europe and Canada today? Our health care system is patronized by many of those people from countries with socialized medicine who cross our borders to get good health care! Remember, for the most part people can get jobs that provide health care--they are available. And those who are elderly and for whom jobs are not an option do have socialized medicine under our current system.

Let's flesh this stuff out, get to the bottom. Don't just give me party line stuff, slogans. Those look cutesy on a campaign poster, but they don't fly for a reasoned debate. Tell me specifically what's wrong with Bush. How does he look out for his corporate boys at our expense? How does he not care about health care? how is he gutting social security? What personal freedoms of yours have been encroached upon by Bush; what are you unable to do now that you were free to do 5 years ago?

Tell me, don't just throw out allegations, don't just demogogue it.
