Anyone know of good daily news sites for science or religion? I've found a good one for the arts, but my.yahoo just ain't cutting it for science coverage, and I'm not sure Reuters or AP even has a religion wire. Thanks for any leads! Cheers, ------------------ Tom Head www.tomhead.net

*blink* My word. Thank you, Bill! This is beyond perfect, and about five times more than I thought available. Cheers, ------------------ Tom Head www.tomhead.net
Wow Bill. How do you even have time to post here, with all those great resources to keep up with??? "Evidence for chaos in the neocortex"? I draw your attention to the types of phone calls we get in the HUX office during a full moon, and the resulting flumox produced in the staff in trying to answer some of them. {g}
Nicole, I don't have time to answer you. Actually, my list of links is like my library, which I call the "Hall of Enthusiasm." I'm set for life for reading material; I hope I read a tenth of it. *nod*
Since we're off-topic anyway, and in light of your recent response to Xoom about the DL ballet program {g}: have you read Remake by Connie Willis? It was originally published in 1994, back when it was science fiction. You can check out a synopsis on Amazon, if you're interested.
I haven't read it, but did read the synopsis on Amazon. Like you said, this isn't SF any longer, although they have a way to go. I really enjoyed some of the music videos that brought together some duos, particularly the warm Father/Daughter combo of Nat and Natalie Cole.
I thought Remake was delightful, as are all of Connie Willis's books and stories (at least those I've read so far). ------------------ Kristin Evenson Hirst DistanceLearn.About.com
Cool! Another Connie Willis fan!!! I just started reading Passage but am sadly out of date on most of her recent short fiction. (I don't get to read the magazines anymore.) I sent a copy of Doomsday Book to a friend of mine, she loved it, and sent it on to a friend of hers who claimed he would NEVER touch a piece of SF. He loved it too, of course. {g} Connie is one of my all-time favorite writers, along with Kate Wilhelm, Algis Budrys, Alan Brennert, and quite a number of others in the field. Oh, oh. Looks like my roots are showing. {eg}
