New website - study sheets for proficiency exams

I don't know about you, but in studying for all these tests we always seem to be taking, I have a hard time finding concise summaries of the material to be covered.

What I am doing, as I study for these tests, is creating my own crib sheets, and looking at them before test day. I'm sure some of you have done this as well.

I am not aware of any web pages that have geared themselves towards the material specifically on the Proficiency Exams (usually all I find on the web are course outlines when I search for a test topic).

My goal is to collect documents or links to info relevant to studying for these exams (Clep, Dantes, ECE, etc.) so that we can all have easy access to the resources that we need.

Please. please, please: if you have created your own study sheets or know of some really great links relevant to a particular exam, submit them to me and I will post them on the site, giving you credit for them, of course.

I hope that this will be a resource for everyone on this board (eventually, as my site grows; right now it is definitely in its infancy, so don't expect much). You all have shared so much valuable information with me through this forum, and I hope in some way, I can repay you all by helping someone new benefit from our collective knowledge of tests we have already taken. Sorry for rambling.

It's about time someone makes something like this. The only other website almost like the one you are making is www.freeuniv.com. Great job on the Drug and Alcohol Abuse outline (verygood).

Today, I have added a new sheet for the Dantes Money and Banking exam. I have also added a link to a comprehensive website on English Literature and will soon be adding one for American Literature (both CLEP exams).

 

Nice work Alex. You could become the Linus Torvalds of open source learning.
