The discussion forum in the"Online learning Directory" site is new.

Its (presently small) members roster features a number of Saint Regis University staffers and graduates including Len (probably Professor Dr. Leonard van der Walt), John D (probably Professor Dr. John S. Dovelos), agricolamaturus (probably George Reiff, PhD from Saint Regis: "Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire"), among others.

Posts tend to refer to the level of civility and utility that this forum will offer to its participants. After a few days of activity, the forum seems to have become quiet.

There are Google ads at the top of the forum for distance learning enterprises, some of which are not wonderful. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for the creation of the forum: to provide revenue flow through advertising.

I haven't tried to join. (If I did, I would probably ruffle some feathers asking about pigeon-related matters.) But maybe this would be an avenue for posing questions to SRU concerning its policies?

Sounds like a good way to get your posts deleted, after you are banned for life!

Perhaps I should log on quick so that I can get banned before the place is closed down. I still lament the lost opportunity to be banned for life from the Kennedy-Western forum before they made it private.

Okay I guess the truth is that I don't really lament that lost opportunity because maybe I did get banned but just forgot?

    My favorite post over there so far is from "Dr. J";

"Greetings Bob, Greg, Len and John D. I finally made it. Don't have much time but wanted to let you know I am support our mutual cause"!

Gee....I wonder what that "mutual cause" might be?????

"Doc" explains Saint Regis faculty-professor project

In the Online Learning Directory web site, "Doc" explains how a complete Saint Regis course can take only 10 hours of time to finish:
Of course, it is possible that Doc's statement is not accurate.

SRU (staffer??) rumors a lawsuit is coming

Doc has posted a message to the "Online learning Directory" forum rumoring an impending lawsuit by Saint Regis and explaining why he will not name any of the many (his emphasis) universities (his term) which accept SRU degrees.
Since "Doc" won't name them, here is a guess at a partial list (I imagine there are more):
    • American Coastline
    • James Monroe
    • Robertstown
    • Al Qasim
    • Breyer State
    • Ashford
    • Brentwick
    • Kingsfield
    • Parkwood
    • Thornewood
    • Westbourne
    • Wexford
    • Devonshire
    • Glencullen
    • Harrington
    • Shelbourne
    • Landford
    • Northfield

At least he has a sense of humor.

I suspect no lawsuit will be forthcoming. Discovery would be just too much fun. They would have to provide whatever evidence one would need in preparing a defence. Wow!

I also notice that St Regis moved from Carey Street to Water Street.

It must take years of planning and great expense to move a whole university.

Did SRU just threaten one of its clients?

An Online Learning Directory thread seems to indicate that Saint Regis has just threatened one of its clients ("Macedon") for his posts there. In case they get pulled, here is what he/she posted:

    first post
    Second post:

That 'first post', signed by zen, enjoyed a very brief appearance on one of the troll fora before being pulled not long ago. Several SRU shills are working that forum (online-college), so it probably didn't take long for the alarm to be raised about its presence there.

    the black helicopters come a'calling

    Well, that was quick!

The thread containing Macedon's two posts, quoted above, has now disappeared.

yet again another Saint Regis forum

The Reniassance International Honor Society "is dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education." And by paying $99 you can order a certificate to prove your academic worth.

So what does this have to do with "Accredited vs..." matters? Well, the domain registration is

    FF Private
    432 Main
    Washington, DC 20003

    Registrar: NAMESDIRECT
    Created on: 28-DEC-02
    Expires on: 28-DEC-04
    Last Updated on: 17-MAR-04

    Administrative, Technical Contact:
    Private, FF [email protected]
    432 Main
    Washington, DC 20003
    800 290 0021.

Notice the phone number, to be found in various places on the web concerning purported delivery of curriculum, or at least provision of credentials.

In addition, there's a discussion forum in which the two existing threads extoll the virtues of Saint Regis.

The domain's IP address is It lives right next to the "" domain, which in turn shows the following registration data:
    Registrant Name: kenneth pearson
    Registrant Organization: a + Computing
    Registrant Address: n 2727 nelson
    Registrant City: spokane.

Mr. Pearson's association with the Liberian-affiliated Liberty Prep was described in Bill Morlin's Spokane Spokesman-Review article last November. So there are all sorts of connections to be found.
