    Interesting that you mention a PharmD. If I had a kid who was interested in medicine or science, I might encourage them to do a PharmD right out of high school. Six years of school, but then a really good salary on the other side. And since it's a doctorate, they can justify never going back to university again. :)

    If I was young and/or single again, I would totally do a PharmD. My wife is already a PharmD, so she knows exactly what would be involved. I think she has other ideas for us in the next 6 years, and me being a student again is not one of them.

    Here is a crazy idea I came up with recently: becoming a pharmacy tech instead. I've noticed there are a ton of programs out there that need instructors.

    Most schools I've seen usually require a PharmD, or a PhD with a Pharmacy Tech certification. PharmDs usually don't want to do it because the pay is not worth it for them. Well I have the PhD, all I need is the Pharmacy Tech cert, which I'm pretty sure could be done through self-study, then passing the exam. Of course, my wife thinks this is equally crazy. What do you all think?
